Moravian Sweeps Albion for Third Straight Victory
ORLANDO, Fla. --- The Moravian University women’s tennis squad swept Albion (Mich.) College at the United States Tennis Association National Campus in Orlando Monday.

How It Happened
- The Greyhounds captured all three doubles contests to claim the doubles point. The tandem of sophomores Katherine Georgiou and Sydney Shifman finished first with a 6-1 triumph at third doubles while junior Izzy Szmodis and sophomore Leah Zolotareva won by the same score at first doubles. Freshmen Nicole Kalorin and Ali Willis finished off the sweep with a 6-3 victory at second doubles
- Zolotareva was the first to come off the courts in singles action with a 6-1, 6-0 win at first singles while Szmodis made it 3-0 with a 6-1, 6-0 triumph at second singles. Kalorin captured the winning team point with a 6-1, 6-0 victory at fourth singles, and she was followed off the courts by Shifman with a 6-2, 6-1 win at third singles. Freshman Jenna Gower pushed the edge to 6-0 with a 6-2, 6-3 victory at sixth singles while Willis completed the match with a 5-7, 6-2, 1-0 (10-2) triumph at fifth singles
- The 7-0 sweep was the fifth of the season for the Blue & Grey in eight matches
