Moravian Tops NCAA Division II Kutztown in Non-Conference Action
BETHLEHEM, Pa. --- The Moravian University women’s tennis squad topped NCAA Division II Kutztown University, 5-2, in non-conference action at Howard Hoffman Courts Wednesday afternoon.

How It Happened
- The Greyhounds took two of three doubles matches to claim the doubles point and a 1-0 lead. The tandem of sophomores Ali Bender and Sydney Shifman posted a 6-2 victory at third doubles while junior Izzy Szmodis and sophomore Leah Zolotareva earned a 6-3 win at first doubles to garner the point. The Golden Bears won 6-3 at second doubles
- Freshman Ali Willis opened singles with a 6-0, 6-0 triumph at fifth singles to make it 2-0 before Zolotareva recorded a 6-1, 6-1 win at first singles for a 3-0 edge. Bender clinched the match with a 6-3, 6-1 victory at sixth singles before the Golden Bears picked up wins at second and third singles. Sophomore Nicole Kalorin finished off the victory with a 6-7 (5-7), 6-4, 1-0 (10-8) triumph at fourth singles
