Sutter Named Landmark Women's Track Athlete of the Week
TOWSON, Md. --- Sophomore Brielle Sutter of the Moravian College women’s track & field team has been named the Landmark Conference Women’s Track Athlete of the Week for her performance last week.
TOWSON, Md. --- Sophomore Brielle Sutter of the Moravian College women's track & field team has been named the Landmark Conference Women's Track Athlete of the Week for her performance last week.
Sutter led Moravian on the track as the Greyhounds opened their 2013 outdoor season at the non-scoring Tribe Invitational hosted by the College of William & Mary Saturday. Sutter placed 11th in the 200-meter dash with an ECAC qualifying time of 26.14 seconds, and she ran the anchor leg of Moravian's 4x400-meter relay in 59 seconds as the quartet finished ninth in an overall time of 4:08.37. Sutter was also 12th in the 400-meter dash in a time of 1:00.50, and she placed 18th in the long jump at a distance of 4.78 meters (15 feet, 8 ¼ inches).
Moravian is scheduled to return to action on Saturday, March 30th when the team travels to the Lafayette College 7-Way Meet in Easton.
