Redmond & Sutter Set School Records at Duke Twilight
DURHAM, N.C. --- Sophomores Morgan Redmond and Brielle Sutter of the Moravian College women's track & field team each set school records while competing at non-scoring Duke University Twilight Sunday.
DURHAM, N.C. --- Sophomores Morgan Redmond and Brielle Sutter of the Moravian College women's track & field team each set school records while competing at non-scoring Duke University Twilight Sunday.
Redmond started the meet by running a school record and ECAC qualifying time of 1:05.29 in the 400-meter hurdles that placed her seventh in the race. She then posted a time 27.24 to place ninth in the 200-meter dash.
Sutter was 12th in the 400-meter dash with a school record and ECAC qualifying time of 57.06, a time that moves her to 19th on the Track & Field Results Reporting System list that will have the top 22 individuals and top 16 relay teams at the end of the season in each event heading to the NCAA Division III National Championships at the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse.
Moravian is scheduled to return to action on Thursday, May 9th at the York College of Pennsylvania Twilight meet beginning at 4:00 p.m.
