Vashey Honored as Moravian Sodexo Student-Athlete of the Week
BETHLEHEM, Pa. --- Senior thrower Karalyn Vashey Hof the Moravian University’s women's indoor track & field squad has been selected as the Sodexo Student-Athlete of the Week for her performance last week.
BETHLEHEM, Pa. --- Senior thrower Karalyn Vashey of the Moravian University's women's track & field squad squad has been selected as the Sodexo Student-Athlete of the Week for her performance last week.
Vashey, who received her second Sodexo Student-Athlete of the Week, earned United States Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association Second Team All-America with a 15th place finish in the 20-pound weight throw at the 2026 NCAA Division III Indoor National Championships on Friday with a toss of 16.41 meters (53-10.25) on her final toss of the preliminaries.
The Greyhounds have completed the indoor season, and the throwers will start the outdoor campaign this Friday-Saturday, March 20-21 at the Stockton (N.J.) University Invitational.
The Sodexo Student-Athlete of the Week is selected on Mondays by Moravian's Student-Athlete Advisory Committee. Sodexo will be giving each week's winner a free Starbucks drink at DeLight's Café.
