Moravian Earns Pair of Event Wins at Ithaca Bomber Invitational
ITHACA, Pa. --- The Moravian University men’s indoor track & field team earned a pair of event wins and had four regional qualifiers at the Ithaca (N.Y.) College Bomber Invitational Saturday.

Moravian Event Winners
- Graduate student Cole Stanchina won the 5,000-meter run with an All-Atlantic Region Track & Field Conference qualifying time of 15:03.92
- Senior Jerome Luckey captured first in the high jump with an AARTFC qualifying height of 2.01 meters (6-7)
Moravian Top 10 Results
- Junior Gavin Hefferan was the runner-up in the 5,000-meter run in an AARTFC qualifying time of 15:04.35 while freshman Braeden Knotts took ninth at 16:03.23
- Junior Logan Betyeman finished second in the 3,000-meter run in a time of 8:49.04 while sophomore Riley Trigo was tenth in 9:10.78
- Freshman Jayden Walls placed third in the high jump at 1.88 meters (6-2)
- Senior Jacob Fenstermaker took fourth in the 60-meter dash finals with an AARTFC qualifying time of 7.01 seconds after a qualifying time of 9.10 seconds
- Junior Nate Moore finished fourth in mile run with a time of 4:28.64
- Senior Bryan Kerchner placed fourth in the 800-meter run in 1:58.71
- Junior Mael Tshiyonga was eighth in the preliminaries of the 60-meter hurdles in 8.69 seconds but missed out on the finals due to the number of prelim heats and automatic qualifiers for the final
- Freshman Justin Nunes took ninth in the triple jump with a distance of 12.61 meters (41-4.5)
- Luckey was ninth in the long jump with a leap of 6.39 meters (20-11.75)
- Sophomore Owen Smith finished tenth in the 400-meter run at 51.08 seconds
