Moravian Men Take Second in 2026 Landmark Conference Indoor Championships

- The Hounds scored 173 points while Susquehanna University took first with 191.33 points
- Moravian won four individual titles of the 17 events
- The Blue & Grey posted seven All-Atlantic Region Track & Field Conference qualifying marks
Moravian Event Winners
- Junior Gavin Hefferan won the 3,000-meter run with an AARTFC qualifying time of 8:44.55
- Freshman Jayden Walls captured the long jump with a leap of 6.60 meters (21-8). Walls was honored as the Landmark Conference Men's Indoor Field Athlete of the Year
- Freshman Parker Hamilton took first in the shot put with a personal best and AARTFC qualifying distance of 15.19 meters (49-10)
- Moravian's 4,000-meter distance medley relay team of junior Jordan Gagner, sophomore Charles Champagne and freshmen Eric Boyce and Gavin Casey capture first with a time of 10:41.00

- Graduate student Cole Stanchina was the runner-up in the 5,000-meter run with an AARTFC qualifying time of 15:10.69 while Hefferan placed third in 25:26.47, junior Nate Moore took fourth at 15:28.42, freshman Braeden Knotts finished sixth in 15:43.63, sophomore Riley Trigo took seventh at 16:02.38 and freshman Jonathan Pajrowski was eighth in 16:15.10
- Junior Logan Betyeman finished second in the mile run with an AARTFC qualifying time of 4:19.79 while senior Bryan Kerchner took third at 4:25.02, freshman Aiden Nieman placed sixth at 4:33.65 and junior Adam Plummer was ninth in 4:39.60
- Sophomore Julius Reyes was the runner-up in the 35-pound weight throw with a toss of 15.45 meters (50-8.25) while sophomore Chris Petit-Frere took third at 14.95 meters (49-0.75), junior Anthony Morillo finished eighth at 14.31 meters (46-11.5) and freshman Jeremiah Peguero took ninth at 13.57 meters (44-6.25)
- The Hounds' 4x200-meter relay squad of freshman Shane Pratt, senior Jacob Fenstermaker, graduate student Kyle Weiss and sophomore Owen Smith placed second in an AARTFC qualifying time of 1:31.44
- Freshman Brady McKenna finished third in the pole vault at 4.05 meters (13-3.5)
- Freshman Justin Nunes placed third in the triple jump with a mark of 12.76 meters (41-10.5) while sophomore Ricky Krouse took sixth at 12.12 meters (39-9.25)
- Fenstermaker finished third in the finals of the 60-meter dash in 7.04 seconds while Pratt was eighth in 26.17 seconds after suffering an injury in the race. Pratt had the second fastest qualifying time of 6.93 seconds, which is the fourth fastest in program history and an AARTFC qualifying mark. Fenstermaker rank 7.10 seconds in the prelims
- Morillo placed third in the shot put with a mark of 14.74 meters (48-4.5) while Reyes was sixth at 13.45 meters (44-1.5)
- Moravian's 4x400-meter relay team of Weiss, Smith, sophomore Delferson Contreras and freshman Ramses Valera took third with an AARTFC qualifying time of 3:25.76
- Junior Mael Tshiyonga took fourth in the finals of the 60-meter hurdles in 8.59 seconds after a qualifying time of 8.72 seconds
- Smith was fourth in the 400-meter dash at 50.74 seconds while Weiss placed ninth in 51.4 seconds
- Stanchina placed fourth in the 3,000-meter run in 8:46.60 while Kerchner was sixth in 8:53.32, Trigo finished eighth at 9:01.66, Betyeman took ninth in 9:05.80 and Moore was tenth at 9:05.91
- Walls also took fifth in the high jump at 1.87 meters (6-1.5)
- Freshman Jared Petre finished sixth in the 800-meter run in 1:59.60 while Boyce took tenth in 2:02.59
- Nunes was seventh in the long jump with a leap of 6.14 meters (20-1.75) while Krouse took ninth at 6.06 meters (19-10.75)
- Fenstermaker placed tenth in the 200-meter dash in 23.38 seconds
