Smith Selected as Moravian Sodexo Student-Athlete of the Week
BETHLEHEM, Pa. --- Sophomore Owen Smith from the Moravian University’s men’s indoor track & field team has been selected as the Sodexo Student-Athlete of the Week for his performance last week.
BETHLEHEM, Pa. --- Sophomore Owen Smith from the Moravian University's men's indoor track & field team has been selected as the Sodexo Student-Athlete of the Week for his performance last week.
Smith was the runner-up in the 300-meter dash at the Franklin & Marshall College Blue & White Invitational on Saturday with a school record time of 35.73 seconds, surpassing the converted 300-yard time set by Ozzie Brown set in 2005.
The Greyhounds are scheduled to return to action on Friday, February 13 and Saturday, February 14 at the Widener University Indoor Classic with Friday's events at Widener and Saturday's events at the Jane & David Ott Center at the University of Pennsylvania.
The Sodexo Student-Athlete of the Week is selected on Mondays by Moravian's Student-Athlete Advisory Committee. Sodexo will be giving each week's winner a free Starbucks drink at DeLight's Café.
