Ratcliff Breaks Program Scoring Record as Moravian Tops Lycoming on Senior Day

How It Happened
- The Warriors hit the opening three-pointer of the game while senior guard Chad Kratzer countered to tie the game at 3-3. Ratcliff put the Hounds up 6-3 with a three-pointer, and he broke the all-time scoring mark with another three-pointer at the 17:01 mark for a 9-5 lead. Lycoming countered and took a 15-12 edge with 14:27 left in the half. Moravian moved back on top, 16-15, on a lay-up by junior guard/forward Riley Flood and sophomore guard Dylan Costa added a jumper to make it 18-15 with just under ten minutes to play until halftime
- Lycoming knotted the score at 18-18 before Flood drained a three-pointer that would give Moravian the lead for good at 21:18 at the 9:17 mark. The Blue & Grey stretched the advantage into double digits at 36-25 with 4:07 remaining in the half as Ratcliff sank his fourth of five first half three-pointers. Ratcliff also finished the scoring in the half with a jumper to send the Hounds to the locker room with a 41-32 halftime lead
- The Warriors began the second half with an 11-4 run to cut the Moravian edge to two points at 45-43 with 14:37 remaining, but that would be as close as Lycoming would get. The Greyhounds' largest lead of the game came with 3:46 to play as Ratcliff drained his seventh three-pointer of the contest for a 71-59 edge
- Prior to the game, Moravian honored six players for their contributions to the program in their final home contest – forward Liam Cummiskey, guard George Cutler, guard Colin Farrell, guard Porter Kelly, guard Chad Kratzer and forward Marquis Ratcliff
Inside the Numbers
- Moravian had a trio of players in double figures with Ratcliff netting 28 points to go with 10 rebounds for his ninth double-double of the season and 36th of his career. Ratcliff now has 1,916 points in a Greyhound uniform, passing Brandon Zaleski '05, who was in attendance at the game. Zaleski held the previous record of 1,891 points. Ratcliff is second in program history with 841 rebounds, and he had four blocked shots to raise his school career record to 217 and three assists
- Freshman guard Nico Pulieri tossed in a career-high 10 points to go with six rebounds while Kratzer finished with 10 points and three boards
- Costa recorded eight points and three rebounds while Cummiskey posted seven points, six boards, five assists, two steals and a pair of blocked shots
- Junior guard Joel Baez contributed six points, three rebounds and three assists while Cutler and Flood both had five points with Cutler adding three rebounds and two assists
- Sophomore guard JJ Kolumber registered three boards and a pair of assists
- The Hounds shot 27-for-65 from the field, 15-for-37 on three-pointers and 10-for-17 at the foul line while holding a 42-38 edge on the boards
