Moravian Rallies Past Lycoming as Kelly Nets 1,000th Career Point

How It Happened
- The Greyhounds opened the scoring with a tip-in basket by senior forward Liam Cummiskey, and the Hounds led 11-0 after a three-pointer from senior guard Porter Kelly at the 16:38 mark that made Kelly become the 27th player in program history to reach 1,000 career points. The Warriors countered with a 13-2 run, knotting the score at 13-13 before a three-pointer from Cummiskey had the Blue & Grey leading 16-13 midway through the half
- Lycoming went on a 20-3 run to build a 33-19 edge with 5:24 to go in the first half, and the Warriors took a 45-28 advantage into the intermission on a buzzer beating three-pointer
- Kelly began the second half with a lay-up, and a three-pointer by Cummiskey closed the gap to 12 points at 45-33. Lycoming still had a 15-point lead, 63-48, with 11:83 remaining when Moravian went on a 9-0 run capped with another tip-in by Cummiskey to cut the deficit to 63-57 with 9:18 to go
- The Warriors had a nine-point edge, 72-63, at the 6:05 mark before the Greyhounds put together a 14-4 run to move back ahead, 77-76, on a three-pointer from senior guard Chad Kratzer with 2:47 remaining. Moravian took the lead for good at 80-78 when Kratzer drained another three-pointer with just under two minutes to go
Inside the Numbers
- Moravian four players in double figures led by senior forward Marquis Ratcliff, who had a game-high 25 points to become the third player in program history to reach 1,700 career points now with 1,709. Ratcliff also nine rebounds to become the fifth Greyhound to 750 rebounds, now with 758, and he added four assists and a pair of blocked shots
- Kratzer tossed in 21 points to with six rebounds and a pair of assists while Cummiskey netted a career-high 18 points to go along with eight boards and three assists
- Kelly finished with 14 points, five rebounds and five assists while sophomore guard JJ Kolumber had five points and four assists
- Sophomore guard Dylan Costa added three points, two assists and two boards while junior guard George Cutler posted two points, two assists and two rebounds
- The Hounds shot 30-of-66 from the floor (45.5 percent), 14-for-42 on three-pointers and 14-for-21 at the foul line, and the Blue & Grey held a 40-31 edge in rebounds
