TOWSON, Md. --- Moravian University freshman attack Jack Minetti has been honored as the Landmark Conference Men’s Lacrosse Offensive Athlete of the Week for his performance last week.
TOWSON, Md. --- Moravian University freshman attack Jack Minetti has been honored as the Landmark Conference Men's Lacrosse Offensive Athlete of the Week for his performance last week.
Minetti led the Greyhounds in scoring with eight points on six goals and two assists as Moravian went 1-1 in non-conference action to begin the 2026 season. Minetti took 13 shots in the two matches with eight on goal, scoring on six of them, and he also had eight ground balls and a caused turnover during the week. Minetti had four goals and four ground balls in a 9-5 win over Gwynedd Mercy University to start the season, and he then had two goals, two assists and four ground balls in an 18-9 loss at The United States Merchant Marine Academy.
"Jack is a hard-working young player," Head Men's Lacrosse Coach Dave Carty said. "He's not even at the peak of his ability. We're very excited to see him continue to develop and make an impact on our team."
The Greyhounds are scheduled to return to action on Thursday, February 26 with the squad hosting McDaniel College in a non-conference match starting at 4:00 p.m. on John Makuvek Field.
