Top 15 Games of 2025-26 - #12 Men’s Lacrosse Rallies for Win over Susquehanna
BETHLEHEM, Pa. --- Moravian University is continuing its look back at the 2025-26 athletic campaign with a top 15 list of the Most Exciting Games of the year voted on by the athletic administration. Our No. 12 highlight – the men’s lacrosse team rallying from an early three-goal deficit for a 10-8 win over Susquehanna University on John Makuvek Field.
BETHLEHEM, Pa. --- Moravian University is continuing its look back at the 2025-26 athletic campaign with a top 15 list of the Most Exciting Games of the year voted on by the athletic administration.
Our No. 12 highlight – the men's lacrosse team rallying from an early three-goal deficit for a 10-8 win over Susquehanna University on John Makuvek Field.
The Greyhounds fell behind 3-0 just 4:03 into the match and trailed 3-1 after the first quarter of action with junior attack Nick Coffaro scoring. Moravian briefly tied the match at 3-3 in the second quarter on goal from senior attack Ryan Kokoszka junior midfielder Hunter Klapmuts; however, the River Hawks added a goal for a 4-3 lead at the intermission
Susquehanna also scored the first goal of the second half for a 5-3 edge just over three minutes into the third quarter. The Hounds responded with five straight goals to take control of the match. Kokoszka made it 5-4 while Coffaro netted a pair of unassisted goals 32 seconds apart to give the Blue & Grey a 6-5 edge with 8:08 left in the period. Freshman long stick midfielder Christian Hantson scored a man-up goal while Coffaro scored again to cap the run of five goals in just over seven minutes as Moravian led 8-5 after three quarters.
Moravian scored twice in the final quarter with freshman attack Tyler Bowden and Kokoszka both scoring once. Junior goalie Liam Kelly registered 11 saves in the victory with the Hounds being outshot 44-40.
