Six Hounds Named College Sports Communicators Men’s At-Large Academic All-District
BETHLEHEM, Pa. --- Moravian University seniors Ryan Kokoszka, Robbie McNelly, James Panico and Mike Sickler, junior Liam Kelly and sophomore Stevie Grosscup have been named to the 2026 College Sports Communicators (CSC) Academic All-District Men’s At-Large Team for NCAA Division III schools.
BETHLEHEM, Pa. --- Moravian University seniors Ryan Kokoszka, Robbie McNelly, James Panico and Mike Sickler, junior Liam Kelly and sophomore Stevie Grosscup have been named to the 2026 College Sports Communicators (CSC) Academic All-District Men's At-Large Team for NCAA Division III schools.
To be eligible for CSC Academic All-America® honors, a student-athlete must maintain at least a 3.50 grade-point average, be a sophomore, junior, senior or graduate student and be a starter or significant reserve that has played in 90 percent of the team's game or started 66 percent of the team's contests this year. For golf nominees, the student-athlete must have competed in 70 percent of the team's scoring events. Sports eligible for the men's at-large program are fencing, golf, gymnastics, ice hockey, lacrosse, rifle, skiing, volleyball, water polo and wrestling.
By making the All-District Team, the group is now forwarded onto the national ballot to try for CSC Academic All-America® accolades, which will be announced Wednesday, July 8. Moravian has had 56 Greyhounds named CSC Academic All-Americans®.
Kokoszka, a sports management major with a 3.91 grade-point average, started all 17 matches this spring for the Greyhounds as an attack on the men's lacrosse squad, and he had 28 goals, 11 assists, 25 ground balls and eight caused turnovers. Kokoszka recorded 83 goals, 23 assists, 62 ground balls and 13 caused turnovers in 63 career contests for the Hounds with 45 starts. Kokoszka was a member of the Moravian Dean's Honors List eight times, Moravian's Chi Alpha Sigma National College Athlete Honor Society and a member of the Landmark Conference Winter/Spring Academic Honor Roll three times. He also made the CSC Academic All-District Team for the third straight year.
McNelly, a finance major with a minor in history and a 3.52 grade-point average, posted a scoring average of 79.16 over 19 rounds for the Greyhounds' men's golf squad to go with a pair of top ten finishes and a season low round of 72. McNelly finished his career with a 79.90 scoring average over 71.5 rounds, and he had nine top ten finishes, four top five finishes and won the 2025 Elizabethtown Spring Invitational. McNelly's career low round was a 71 in the second round of The Melee in 2022. McNelly has been a member of the Moravian Dean's Honors List five times, Moravian's Chi Alpha Sigma National College Athlete Honor Society and is a three-time member of the Landmark Conference Winter/Spring Academic Honor Roll.
Panico, a health sciences/pre-physical therapy major with a 3.75 grade-point average, was selected as the 2026 Landmark Conference Men's Lacrosse Senior Scholar Athlete after registering 28 ground balls and 12 caused turnovers while starting all 17 contests. Panico had 77 ground balls and 33 caused turnovers in 47 career matches with 38 starts, missing one season due to injury. He been a member of the Moravian Dean's Honors List seven times, Moravian's Chi Alpha Sigma National College Athlete Honor Society and a two-time member of the Landmark Conference Spring Academic Honor Roll and the CSC Academic All-District Team.
Sickler, a nursing major with a 3.92 grade-point average, started 16 matches this season as a defender for the men's lacrosse team, and he had 36 ground balls and 27 caused turnovers. Sickler posted an assist, 120 ground balls and 87 caused turnovers in 60 career matches for the Greyhounds with 49 starts. Sickler has been a member of the Moravian Dean's Honors List eight times, Moravian's Chi Alpha Sigma National College Athlete Honor Society and a member of the Landmark Conference Winter/Spring Academic Honor Roll and the CSC Academic All-District three times each.
Kelly, a sociology major with a 3.50 grade-point average, was Moravian's starting goal on the men's lacrosse squad for the third straight season as he posted a 10-7 record, a 10.18 goals-against average, 161 saves, 47 ground balls and 20 caused turnovers in 872 minutes of action. Kelly has a 10.70 career goals-against average to go with 407 saves, 102 ground balls, 39 caused turnovers and an assist in 2,181 minutes while starting 41 of 43 career matches. Kelly has been a member of the Moravian Dean's Honors List five times, Moravian's Chi Alpha Sigma National College Athlete Honor Society and is a two-time member of the Landmark Conference Winter/Spring Academic Honor Roll.
Grosscup, a finance major with a 3.85 grade-point average, posted a scoring average of 81.19 while playing in all 21 rounds for the Greyhounds' men's golf squad this season, and he had one top ten finish and a season low round of 74. In two seasons, Grosscup is averaging 82.99 stokes per round over 34.5 rounds to go with a pair of top ten finishes and a career low of 74 in The Spring Thaw this season. Grosscup has been a member of the Moravian Dean's Honors List four times and he was named to the Landmark Conference Winter/Spring Academic Honor Roll this season.
