No. 22 Hounds Fall to No. 6 Virginia Wesleyan in Cross Bay Bash

How It Happened
- The Marlins scored three unearned runs in the bottom of the first inning for a 3-0 advantage
- Virginia Wesleyan tacked on two runs in the bottom of the third frame to stretch the edge to 5-0 with the last runs of the contest
Inside the Numbers
- Moravian had two hits, singles from senior shortstop Holly Walter and sophomore center fielder Shayla Morgan
- Junior Sarah DeStefano made the start in the circle for the Blue & Grey, and she had a pair of strikeouts in five innings of action. Junior Natalie Otto tossed the final inning of the game
