Hounds Sweep Wilkes on the Road
WILKES-BARRE, Pa. --- The Moravian University women’s volleyball squad swept host Wilkes University, 3-0, in Landmark Conference action Tuesday evening.

WILKES-BARRE, Pa. --- The Moravian University women's volleyball squad swept host Wilkes University, 3-0, in Landmark Conference action Tuesday evening.
How It Happened
- The Greyhounds scored the first two points of the match while the Colonels scored twice to make it 2-2. The Blue & Grey scored six of the next eight points for an 8-4 edge, and the Hounds pushed out to a 15-6 lead. Moravian ended up capturing the set 25-16 for a 1-0 advantage
- The Hounds raced out to a quick 9-2 lead in the second set, and the Blue & Grey led 17-4 on the way to another 25-16 set win for a 2-0 edge
- The third set saw Moravian up 7-1 early and as much as 16-7 before posting a 25-17 set win to complete the sweep, the Greyhounds ninth sweep in 11 victories in 2025
Inside the Numbers
- Junior middle blocker Payton Reuber led the Hounds with 11 kills while junior outside hitter Gabbie Reigner added eight kills, six digs and three service aces
- Freshman middle blocker Morgan Holland contributed six kills and six blocks while freshman outside hitter Lauren Donnelly posted six kills, eight digs and four service aces
- Freshman setter Aubrey Pringle led the Moravian offense with 25 assists to go with five digs, four kills and a pair of service aces while junior libero Sam Love added 16 digs, four assists and three service aces to reach 100 career service aces
- Junior defensive specialist Molly Hughes and sophomore defensive specialist Emma Granger both had three digs while sophomore opposite hitter Ella Kilko added three blocks and two digs and senior outside hitter Caroline Melillo posted two digs
