Hounds Move Closer to Postseason Berth with Win at Lycoming
WILLIAMSPORT, Pa. --- The Moravian University women’s volleyball squad improved its chances of making the 2025 Landmark Conference Tournament with a 3-0 sweep at Lycoming College Saturday afternoon.

How It Happened
- The Greyhounds scored the first four points of the match and led 7-2 before the Warriors rallied to tie the opening set at 12-12. From that point, neither squad led by more than two points with the Blue & Grey scoring the final two points for a 25-23 set victory and a 1-0 edge
- While the Hounds earned the first two points of the second game, it was Lycoming that built a 10-6 advantage. Moravian scored four straight points to knot the score at 10-10, and the Greyhounds eventually led 23-19 before a 25-22 set win push the match score to 2-0
- The close match continued throughout the third set with the largest lead of four points for the Blue & Grey coming the first time at 19-15. Moravian took the set 25-21 to complete the sweep
Inside the Numbers
- Junior outside hitter Kelly Tempalsky led the Hounds with ten kills, three digs and a pair of service aces while junior outside hitter Gabbie Reigner added seven kills and seven digs
- Sophomore opposite hitter Ella Kilko contributed five kills, five digs and two blocks while senior setter Ally Plitnik had 22 assists, five kills and nine digs
- Freshman middle blocker Morgan Holland recorded three kills and a pair of blocks while junior middle blocker Payton Reuber posted three blocks and two kills
- Junior libero Sam Love led Moravian with 16 digs to go with four assists while junior defensive specialist Molly Hughes had three assists and three digs and sophomore defensive specialist Madalyn Kocsis added five digs and three service aces
