Moravian Women’s Volleyball Set to Begin 2025 Season on the Road on August 29-30
BETHLEHEM, Pa. --- The Moravian University women’s volleyball team is set to begin the 2025 season on Friday and Saturday, August 29-30 with the Elmira (N.Y.) College Invitational.

The Greyhounds, under the direction of first-year Head Coach Amable Martinez, are heading on the road for the opening weekend for the first time since 2002 as the Hounds face host Elmira on Friday, August 29 before playing SUNY Oswego and Bard (N.Y.) College on Saturday, August 30. The Blue & Grey start their 2025 home season on Wednesday, September 3 when the squad hosts rival Muhlenberg College, and the Hounds welcome York College of Pennsylvania on Saturday, September 6.
Moravian hits the road for a non-conference match at Ursinus College on Friday, September 12 before returning to Johnston Hall to host Penn State Berks on Monday, September 15 and Immaculata University on Thursday, September 18 around a trip to DeSales University on Wednesday, September 17. The Greyhounds finish September with a pair of tri-matches with the squad heading to Arcadia University on Saturday, September 20, which will also include Wentworth Institute of Technology (Mass.) and traveling to Dickinson College on Saturday, September 27 that also includes Pitt-Greensburg.
The Hounds begin October on the road at Bryn Mawr College on Wednesday, October 1 before starting the 2025 Landmark Conference season on Friday, October 3 at The Catholic University of America and Saturday, October 4 at Goucher College. Moravian is slated to host Elizabethtown College on Friday, October 10 and Susquehanna University on Saturday, October 11 as part of Homecoming weekend.
The Blue & Grey make a trip to Wilkes University on Tuesday, October 14 before heading to Misericordia University for a tri-match with Montclair State University on Saturday, October 18. Moravian returns to Johnston Hall for a non-conference contest with Marywood University on Wednesday, October 22 before a weekend trip to Landmark Conference foes Juniata College on Friday, October 24 and Lycoming College on Saturday, October 25.
Moravian rounds out the Landmark Conference regular season by hosting Drew University on Friday, October 31 and The University of Scranton on Saturday, November 1. The Greyhounds finish the regular season with a non-conference match at Gwynedd Mercy University on Thursday, October 6.
The Hounds aim to qualify for the 2025 Landmark Conference Tournament that begins with the first round matchups on Tuesday, November 11 with the third and fourth seeds hosting the fifth and sixth seeds. The semifinals at the top two seeds are slated for Thursday, November 13 while the championship scheduled for Saturday, November 15 at the highest remaining seeds' home court for an automatic berth to the 2025 NCAA Division III National Championship Tournament.
