Fifth Seeded Greyhounds Head To Susquehanna University for First Landmark Conference Tournament Appearance since 2017 on November 11
BETHLEHEM, Pa. --- The Moravian University women’s volleyball squad has earned the fifth seed in the 2025 Landmark Conference Tournament and will travel to fourth seeded Susquehanna University in a first round match on Tuesday, November 11 at 7:00 p.m. in Selinsgrove.

Admission to Tuesday's match is $10 for adults and $5 for minors ages 10-17. Children ages nine and under are admitted free of charge, as are all Landmark Conference students, faculty and staff with their school ID. For the third straight year, the Landmark Conference Tournament features six teams with the top two seeds earning first round byes. The winner of the Moravian/Susquehanna match will travel to top seed Juniata College for a semifinal match on Thursday, November 13 at 7:00 p.m. Tuesday's other first round contest has third seed The Catholic University of America hosting sixth seed Elizabethtown College at 7:00 p.m., and the winner of that match will head to second seed The University of Scranton for the other semifinal contest on November 13. The 2025 Landmark Conference Championship match is set for Saturday, November 15 at the highest remaining seed for the conference title and a berth to the 2025 NCAA Division III National Championship Tournament.
The Greyhounds, who are 14-13 overall and were 5-4 in the Landmark Conference regular season, are under the direction of first-year Head Coach Amable Martinez, who has guided Moravian to the postseason for the first time since 2017. Moravian is making its ninth appearance in the Landmark Conference Tournament since the conference began in 2007-08.
Junior outside hitter Gabbie Reigner leads the Hounds with 200 kills to go with 212 digs, 50 service aces, ten assists and nine blocks while junior middle blocker Payton Reuber has posted 175 kills, 58 blocks, a .318 hitting percentage, 24 digs and nine assists. Sophomore middle blocker Kate McBrierty has contributed 137 kills, a .351 hitting percentage, 48 blocks, eight assists and 12 digs while junior outside hitter Kelly Tempalsky has 108 kills, 107 digs, 11 service aces, ten assists and five blocks.
Sophomore opposite hitter Ella Kilko has recorded 69 kills, 38 blocks, 48 digs, seven assists and four service aces while freshman middle blocker Morgan Holland has 69 kills, 36 blocks, six digs and six assists. Senior setter Ally Plitnick has added 371 assists, 160 digs, 39 kills, 17 blocks and 11 service aces while freshman setter Aubrey Pringle has 335 assists, 100 digs, 33 kills, 24 service aces and 17 blocks. Junior libero Sam Love leads the Blue & Grey with 457 digs to go with 43 service aces, 77 assists and three kills while freshman outside hitter Lauren Donnelly has posted 55 kills, 26 service aces, 64 digs, four blocks and four assists. Senior outside hitter Caroline Melillo has added 48 digs, 45 kills, nine service aces, four assists and eight blocks while freshman outside hitter Adi Schwerdtfeger has 25 kills, eight blocks, nine digs and five service aces.
Junior defensive specialist Molly Hughes has contributed 149 digs, seven service aces, 25 assists and three kills while sophomore defensive specialist Madalyn Kocsis has recorded 62 digs, 13 service aces and six assists. Sophomore defensive specialist Emma Granger has added 22 digs and 12 service aces while junior defensive specialist Morgan Hughes has 20 digs, six service aces and an assist.
The River Hawks defeated the Greyhounds, 3-1, when the squads met in Johnston Hall during the regular season on October 11.
