Harrar Selected to D3baseball.com Team of the Week

MINNEAPOLIS, Minn. --- Moravian University sophomore first baseman Wyatt Harrar has been selected to the D3baseball.com Team of the Week for his performance last week.
Harrar, who was also honored as the Landmark Conference Baseball Athlete of the Week on Monday, hit .421 to lead the Hounds at the dish during a 4-3 week at the RussMatt Invitational in Florida. He was 8-for-19 at the plate with seven extra-base hits including two doubles and five home runs for a 1.316 slugging percentage, and Harrar cross the plate nine times, added 16 RBIs, drew eight walks, was hit by a pitch and had a sacrifice fly for a .586 on-base percentage. He also had 34 putouts and three assists in 37 chances at first base.
Harrar started the week with a 3-for-4 game versus Clark (Mass.) with two homers including his second grand slam of the season and third of his career to go with a double, five RBIs and two runs. Harrar had a home run and three RBIs in each game of a doubleheader versus Concordia-Moorehead (Minn.), and he was 2-for-3 with three runs, a double, a homer and five RBIs in a win over Keystone in the opening game of a doubleheader before drawing three walks in the nightcap.
Harrar was also selected as the Honorable Mention Hitter of the Week by the National Collegiate Baseball Writer's Association.
The Greyhounds are slated to return to action on Wednesday, March 12 when the team hosts Saint Elizabeth (N.J.) University in a non-conference game beginning at 2:00 p.m. at Gillespie Field as Moravian plays its first home game of the season.
