Moravian Falls to Franklin & Marshall in Non-Conference Action
BETHLEHEM, Pa. --- The Moravian University baseball squad fell to visiting Franklin & Marshall College, 15-2 in seven innings, in non-conference action at Gillespie Field Sunday afternoon.

How It Happened
- The Greyhounds took a 1-0 lead in the bottom of the first inning. Sophomore first baseman Wyatt Harrar reached on a fielder's choice and scored on a throwing error by the Diplomats on ball hit by freshman third baseman Troy Rabosky
- Franklin & Marshall countered with a pair of runs in the top of the second inning to move ahead, 2-1
- The Blue & Grey countered with a run in the bottom half of the second to knot the score at 2-2. Senior designated hitter Nick Henry led off with a single, and he trotted home when Harrar drew a bases loaded walk. Moravian ended up leaving the bases loaded in the second, and the Hounds left the bases loaded in the third and sixth innings as well and a total of 12 runners left on in the contest
- The Diplomats took the lead for good with a run in the top of the third inning, and F&M would score six times in the fourth, once in the fifth, three times in the six and twice in the seventh for the NCAA 10-run rule
Inside the Numbers
- Moravian had four hits including doubles from freshman shortstop David Vozzo and sophomore right fielder Matt Westcott
- Henry and freshman center fielder Luke Keitsock both collected singles in the game
- The Hounds drew eight walks and here hit by pitches twice
- Junior Ross Huffman started on the mound and struck out three batters in 3.1 innings. Sophomore Nick Leonard tossed two-thirds of an inning while senior Brandon Holzinger had two strikeouts in 1.2 innings of work. Freshman Chase Wengryn pitched a third of an inning in his collegiate debut while freshman Like Pirapavel tossed an inning in his first career action on the mound
